Hidden Heroes Exhibition - Eindhoven, Netherlands

The Vitra backed Hidden Heroes exhibition featuring the Cityscape coat hangers and Slingshots, has taken residence in the Designhuis, Enidhoven until the 25th May.

From paperclip to pencil, from condom to Velcro, and from press stud to clothes peg. Based on an idea as simple as it was ingenious , these Hidden Heroes of everyday life are actually the ultimate examples of sustainability and functional aesthetics. This exhibition of 35 everyday classics, their history and significance is produced by the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein; the first stop on its journey across the world is the Netherlands.

New work @ Co-Laboratory exhibition

I will be exhibiting a new piece (in collaboration with Rhoslyn Butler) along with some one-off Slingshots and the Building Blocks at the Co-Laboratory exhibition in Hoxton from the 15-25 April.

If you can make it come down for the private view on the 14 April, 6-9pm.

Co-Laboratory:
By invitation designers have been paired with different, yet complimentary practices, to create new work. The intention is to nurture the creativity of conversation, and to encourage new discoveries through an exchange of skills. They have all been asked to make something new, something that functions and something that uses the following quote as its starting point:
‘The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.’ John Pierpont Morgan
